Laundry detergent and sensitive baby skin

If you are wondering about using our laundry detergents for your baby's clothes, you can rest assured that our laundry products are tested for skin irritation in two ways:

  1. A "test tube" test that the EPA and FDA have approved for evaluation of irritancy.
  2. Human "patch" tests in which volunteers wear a patch on their shoulder that contains our product.

If none or only one person among 100 volunteers develops a rash, the product is considered hypo-allergenic. The volunteers are supervised by a doctor. Because our laundry detergents pass these tests, the products are safe for sensitive skin.
