We use a synthetic latex as a minor ingredient in the design of our ultra-thin pads and pantiliners. While this material is called “latex”, it is in fact synthetic and is not related to its natural latex counterpart, which is the latex known to cause allergic reactions. That said, different people can be sensitive to different things and even the synthetic version could be an issue for certain people, but generally this is not the case. We have tested our products and the results showed that both the maxi and ultrathin had undetectable levels of synthetic latex, meaning that levels of the material, if any, were below the detection threshold. The results showed a small amount for the pantiliner, which was expected.
