Is Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) Used in Your Products?

Seventh Generation uses SLS in our hand dish liquid, our disinfectants and our laundry liquids. Prior to using the SLS, Seventh Generation used sodium lauryl ether sulfate, or sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), in our liquid laundry and liquid dish detergents. This is a naturally-derived chemical that comes from palm kernel oil and coconut oil.
